Well this is were the 'Witch's foot' gets confussed with the mother rune of the Anglo-saxons known as known as Ior, which yes does mean serpent, But the Witches foot the sign which is borrowed from the rune called Algiz which through witches confessions and legend is the mark made on the witch in inition by the 'devil' and like its other name known as the 'Raven/Hares Foot' represents just that.

it is most difficult to discipline yourself to do it at least twice a day I think. Also, clearing your mind of all mental chatter and just concentrating on the hiss. I am glad I could help you.
I also own a copy of Witching Way of the Hollow Hill and I've tried Robin's technique for clearing the mind (the pretend amnesia one) and it doesn't really work for me yet. Do you know any other ways to silence the mind in preparation for witch workings? Have you read Treading the Mill by Nigel Pearson?

@Finisomnium000 One that I really liked was just consciously saying "I don't need to think that." or "That is not important at this time." or something along those lines and just focus on your breath. There was something else of Robin's on his blog that I was working on for a while that I want to try again because it had great results, but I will have to look it back up. HOwever, it was excellent for clearing mental chatter.
I have not! I need to get it. Blasted oversea books ><

*contiue towards last reply*.....for the hare and the raven along with many others are sacred animals within Europian Paganism, as the animal of the underworld (Hare) and the upperworld (raven) and represents just that for its three plonged shape which is represented in both animals for its shape of there feet. If sources are wanted i will be happy to provide them for you, i hope i came to come help,

Yes, that does make more sense. So what is the Crossing then? When you touch your head, navel, left shoulder, right shoulder and then cross your arms over your chest? Artisson talks about this and I have seen it in one other place, but I can't remember where...
So is the "Witches Foot" that Robin talks about still used in Witchcraft?

If you are short on ideas for your next video...
I have been investigating the witch's foot--and I understand that you can incorporate it into trance work. The top spoke aligns with your head, the bottom spoke with the earth...But where do the four roads of man go? I don't have four arms :)
Perhaps you can talk about a couple of symbols that matter to witches. I suppose a video that covers just 2 or 3 would be plenty.
