A sea of people surged forward with a deafening roar as the Foo Fighters took to the stage last night.
They played a mixture of old and new songs including their latest single Pretender and classics such as Break Out and Learn To Fly.
Singer and guitarist Dave Grohl was bursting with energy as he told the crowd this gig would be longer and louder than they could ever want.
He promised something better than any festival performance and the band certainly delivered.
The atmosphere was electrifying as drummer Taylor Hawkins beat out a heart-stopping solo that left the crowd in awe. And none of the fans anticipated the beautiful acoustic set performed on a platform lowered from the ceiling.
