I served on an Oliver Hazard Perry, so this is a little disturbing. @Glock U.S. ships use Phalanx CIWS, British use Goalkeeper.

I didn't see the high speed S-turns that the SS-N-22 is notorious for.

Hey, howcome when i set up russian or american heavy bombers with nuclear warheads, and i order them to attack ships or airfields or just the ground they never fire, they just keep flying till bingo fuel then RTB.. this is pissing me off, can someone help?

that should be performing "S" maneuver during the final stage.

@bullcurr Heat dissapating and or Reflective coating, evasive maneouvers, stealth design, hypersonic speed, ECM, and ECCM would pretty much outdate any defensive measure you want to throw at it. Best not to let it get in range if possible

That mortar round was moving along the path of its trajectory, not maneouvering or countering the laser
