A story of hospitality and good sportsmanship---We were all thankful when the Aiken High School basketball team, cheerleaders and coaches all safely arrived in Memphis for the Lynx Classic this week at Lausanne Collegiate School. On their trip from Cincinnati, they had to evacuate their bus after a flat tire. Shortly afterwards the bus went up in flames burning the teams' basketball shoes and other gear in the process. Fortunately, no one was injured and the team arrived in Memphis in time to play their game. Lausanne coaches made sure the team had everything they needed including purchasing new basketball shoes for the entire team prior to tip off and providing the cheerleaders with new matching t-shirts.
