This is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Clearly, she has no clue about the difference between working hard.. and working smart. Just because you work hard, does not mean you are being really productive.. And finding the best way to be productive does not mean you will no longer work hard, it means you will work just as hard but be much more productive than the other guys.
Yes, you can kiss ass to the top.. most likely the way she did it.. or you can WORK you way to the top.
