the essential rock'n'roll: no crew, no lights, no poser, no one man band, people on the stage, cannabis, white and black people at their concerts, high energy, good vibration, zen, poetry and revolution. Kick out the jams Motherfu**ers!!!

  • What a ball ☻

They proved you can't keep up this kind of

    intensity for long though.

Not everybody's so lucky as Iggy./

  • HEY!!! An MC 5 song with more than 4 fucking notes!!!! History on stage, but of course, they're out of tune, as usual

  • at least they re not boring like your music

  • i see all these videos of the mc5. is this from a dvd?

  • "Mc5 A true testimonial" the dvd is out of order

  • @DrugStabbingTime Don't forget, they and their manager, John SInclair, were members of the White Panther Party. And when Richard Nixon came to Chicago in 1968, all these band were scheduled to play (among them the MC5) and one by one, all the bands started pulling out, all except the MC5. Neil Young, Phil Ochs and County Joe McDonal were there, but did not perform. Only the MC5 had the balls to go on and they played for 8 hours straight! They did it at great personal risk to themselves.

  • @Zlazon37 that's what makes them great.

    ... WTF?

  • This was not recorded in New York.... wtf!???? this was recorded at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit... Who ever posted this is a putz

  • one of the best songs ever

  • @Zlazon37

    Oh bull shit

  • this is a good song I wish they could let the rest play.

  • Fucking revolutionary. So ahead of their time. The part at 1:31 where it shows a crowd all joining together and sort of being angry at the same time.. What a freaking amazing experience it must have been to have been at a MC5 concert. Transcending.

  • C'mon,he ain't as good as he was ,

Only for side one of Fun House, and Raw Power

    makes him immortal,

The man is over 60 yet makes still convincing performances, unlike Mick Jogger (Now THAT'S

    a poser).

Last Stooges LP sucked though....sorry Ron ♫
