Pocahontas & John Smith // Almost Here

I have always wanted to make an AMV for this couple and now I have my chance with this as an entry in part 2 of disneyfanatic2010's AMV competition! :)

I wanted to do one to "Listen to Your Heart" but there are many vids set to that song so I thought I would use "Almost Here" by Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem.

Basically, both John and Pocahontas are very upset that they are to be parted after John has been shot and needs medical attention. They both look back on the times they had together and what got them to this point (this is the 25% black & white parts with the bigger black border while the sepia represents a memory within a memory - still with me?!) Anyway, at the end they both realize that although they may be physically apart, they will always be together in their hearts - "Only almost here."
