  • I had the privilage of seeing Full Moon open up for Roy Buchanan New Year's Eve '72 at the old Fillmore East. It was called the Village East at that point. I do remember Full Moon smoked that night and Roy was none to shabby either!

  • I saw Full Moon open for Roy Buchanan over the 72/73 holidays too.at the reopened (Fillmore) Villagte East in NYC. Buzzy was Great playing his jazzy blues with a red 335 through a cranked twin. Full Moon had fine players and good tunes. Roy- as usual- was backed by a decent bar band and played a selection of rock, blues and country covers.,,,but he was on top of the world that year, at the peak of his powers and absolutely a magician on his tele that night. Great double bill
