Another long time request comin' up...Judy Garland's old 'tear jerker' in a 'slightly' different arrangement (to say the least!). From my 2nd Sonet album, "Rockabilly Gasseroonie", released 1977. Self-made choir and that old Kay flat-top taken the acoustic lead part during the 'bridge'. What I clearly remember from this 'session' is that I used one of the best compressors I've ever owned, the Universal Audio's (UREI) LA-4 mono comp. Nothing beats those old original ones, especially not today's junk! I regret terribly that I ever sold it, but it went along with the rest of the most 'exclusive' studio I've ever had, jampacked with electronic gadgets and all types of instruments, not only guitars! I sold the entire shabang in '84 and didn't touch a guitar again until '92, what a shame!! Lean back and imagine Judy being terrorised by this 'novelty version' of her old perennial classic, poor woman! Hank C...
