Rescued Pit Bulls: Inky, Puddin' and Twilight

R.I.P. Inky 1/2010, APBT breed ambassador. Meet Twilight, our newest camper, seen in the crate. Twilight was seized as a cruelty case by local animal control, chained outside through the freeze and snow, starving and standing in his own waste which the officer claimed had probably never been cleaned up since the dog was kept there. Twilight had several intestinal worms, skin infections and has moderate adult heartworm infestation which will need to be treated with injections, though this is a dangerous and potentially lethal treatment in weakened dogs like Twilight. He has been fully vaccinated, neutered and will be ready for adoption once he has recovered from HW treatment. Inky & Puddin' were both strays and are available for adoption as well. Inky has her AKC Canine Good Citizen award and Therapy Dog International certification and Puddin' will be taking the AKC CGC test in a few weeks. Inky died from a spinal injury on 1.09.10. Best APBT ever, I miss her. Pud & Twi are in loving homes, best legacy I could leave.

mmm..what yummy treats..lol..i have 3 dogs all rescues..2 are pitties..they are great..i love when inky is chewing and won't wag her tail at first..she is like mom come on i am busy here..hahaha...great video..thanks for sharing..they are beautiful!!!

They go through those bully sticks like... well, like pit bulls I guess. I buy a case of them for about $2ea for the 12" ones, fairly good deal. I bought the tracheas as a change of pace but only Twilight eats them. He's been starved so he eats anything.
