8-Bit Remix: Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver: New Bark Town

This is one of my many 8-bit remixes (and I mean REAL ones), made with FamiTracker, none of this imitation GXSCC! This is coming straight out of VirtuaNES, an NES emulator, which is playing back the NSF file at the download link below.

Here is an close-to-exact remake of the first town in Pokémon Hea--wait a minute...what are HeartGold and SoulSilver? Does this mean...that GOLD AND SILVER ARE GETTING REMADE?! Yes, that's exactly what it means! Announced about one day before the posting of this video on the official Japanese Pokémon website, HeartGold and SoulSilver will be coming to the Nintendo DS later in 2009 in Japan to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the original Gold and Silver versions. The game will be due in North America in Spring 2010; Europe and Australia will likely come shortly after. More details can be found here:

you do realise an 8-bit remix of heartgold/soulsilver is just gold and sliver? you buffoon.......................­..................honestly, first pokemon game i ever played was original gold, and it was epic. nice copy and paste of the song though!

mannn im getting TWO silver versions, and one gold version, that way i can make one of my silver versions a master, that way i can restart both of them to get as many legendary pokemon i want! then i just trade them to my master and restart! i just wish the new music sounded like the original just a bit, sounds completely new to me except for some parts,

Just get the GB Player item from Celadon City after getting all 16 badges. There is much of the original music in the game!

@cat333pokemon There is ALL the original music! The songs you can't hear since you're too late in the game can be heard on the radio on Sundays, like the Team Rocket battle theme.

@ChampionRevilo Not entirely. There are a fair number of changes in some of it, and several areas were given new, unique themes, like Cinnabar Island and the PokéMart. I know about listening to the retro radio show.
