Level 62 Hellfire Citadel: Ramparts Duo

Discipline Priest & Protection Pally

Just my wife and I duo'ing Through Ramparts when the mobs were Yellow (2/2 Movies of us Duo'ing Ramparts) Great time without random people messing up pulls etc. (Not that we don't mess up our own pulls enough :P, Actually we did really well this time ;) )

If your interested in our specs, to bad :P We are not wearing "uber purple" auctioned items, 100% of our gear is Quested gear (Some from Pre BC) Except for Arwell's "Glowing Brightwood Staff" Which she got super cheap on AH :P (105 gold)

This was our first and only run through Ramparts and we did it without any help other than ourselves. (Note: we did not die once this time, as a funny for our "fans", "We must be getting better or something :P" )

(Some notes about our Run)
In case your wondering, since we seemed to do sooo well at this, I (the tank) have done this instance a total of twice, so I don't know any tricks...allthough, Arwell's done it plenty, so let me know about patrols, etc :P the bosses though, are a totally new experiance with only two players....so any prior "Plans" were shattered :P

Once again, a TON of fun just duo'ing it...., no "bad pulls" and no stupid deaths...Hooray, Ramparts Totally finished (well, maaaaybe we'll try once more for the staff :P), No need for waiting for group memebers or anything...but completed and on the achievment chart :P

Just a note, We're uploading Blood furnace riiight now, And we Also Finished Slave Pens today, Just need to finish publishing Part 2 of Furnace, and then on to Pens... Hope you guys got some time :P

Incredible! I remember pugging Ramparts before the LK nerf to Outlands, where this dungeon was challenging, for lvl 58's. Especially the dragon fight, that's amazing. I recall our 6k warrior tank getting 3-shotted because he didn't have any fire resistance.

Keep 'em coming! Disc Priest and Prot Pally synchronize very well, and you two play with great teamwork. Maybe someday you two could solo Illidan? haha

Hehe, Well, WE'll keep trying them as We level more and more, So keep watching :P...

We are of course going to go through to Old Classic ones, AQ, BRD, etc....but since we're now higher level than them, probably won't be Video'ing them, Unless of course you guys all message us asking us to :P

Yeah at first Prot pally's are extreaaaamly slow going....Untill you hit that 50'ish mark, when you start getting more damage abilities (avengers shield, hammer of righteous and eventually the amzing Shield of righetous) these boost your damage immensely and when coupled with a even remotly decent healer, you'll find it's faster to just pull groups of 4 mobs rather than single target pulling....this makes things much much faster xD

@kiloshinoda thank you...been thinking of going ret because when I tried out prot my dmg sucked and ended up spending 1:30 seconds on a simple lvl 23..((was lvl 20)) but when I went back to ret I killed it in 4 shots...idk...Im thinking of staying ret till vl 60 where i can actually get geared and have good instances to tank in...

Many people recommend leveling via Ret's path. I myself've been levelin' my pally using Prot. Its Health and Mana efficient,stable and safe. BUT,its very slow cause of the damage given. You'll be dodging,blocking and parrying your way though your leveling progress.

Just keep your Seal of Wisdom,Righteous Fury,Devotion Aura and Blessing of Sanctuary on (:

omg this makes me want to lvl my pally....lvl 20 on icecrown server...SO easy to lvl as a ret pally but it looks way easier as a prot pally....or do you just make it look easier?

Thanks for answering Fury, but yup.. That was our first run through ramprts (obviously with accomplishment gain :P) and all our gear was quested gear, except arwell's staff..which she replaced shortly after this video with the staff from ramparts when we went through again :P

(PS. We're currently in WotLK area's now questing through gears, and hope to be doing some vid's of instances soon :crosses fingers: ....they -are- a bit tougher, so we're going to gain a few more level's first :P )
