Underated film, grossly underated Bond actor.
Perhaps it wasn't the time for a more hard edged Bond, unlike now.
And QoS could have been good but the direction ruined it.

Most underrated Bond film ever.

Wasn't for this flim. I wouldn't have never bothered to see a Bond flick period. Ashame it didn't as well as The Living Daylights did back in 87, don't get me wrong i liked The Living Daylights. But i felt Licence To Kill was abit better than The Living Daylights.

@anadryantontine Roger Moore is my favorite Bond. Problem?

6.5 and 6.6 can not be used on mobile devices :(

Three people liked seeing Roger Moore in a plastic crocodile. -_-

license revoked does sound like theyre talking about our stupid drivers licenses being revoked.. it brings up thoughts of being treated like children in order to drive cars.. not good for a 007 movie

Timothy Dalton was the James Bond that Ian Fleming would probably have accepted and liked. Dalton was far and away the closest choice to Fleming's original character. LTK could have been a been improved with a better director and somewhat more sympathetic writing. As it was, the concept of Bond going rogue was something that ian Fleming might have done if he had lived longer.

My Candidate for most underrated James Bond movie is A View to a Kill

As an actor, Dalton was unparalleled compared to the other Bond actors.
He brought raw emotion to the screen in a totally believable manner and mastered the nuances of playing Bond to almost near-perfection.
The 2 films he did were excellent pieces of work directed by the underrated John Glen.
Imagine Dalton in Goldeneye. That would be a downright classic. Theme of revenge - right up Dalton's street.
Brosnan is fine but seems criminally over-rated IMHO. He was bland in all his 4 films.

Thx for a fresh view on Timothy Dalton - what a laudatio! I have never looked at his two films this way and have to admit that you have a point (or rather more than one), at least when it comes to the Living Daylights.
But Bond chasing after some Drugdealer? Seriously!? Instead of saving the World..? It just made this one the most ridiculous Bond ever!

THIS is the Bond film we all wanted to see! I Watch today & think.. Wow.. If only Dalton did another 5!
I love the way you summarize movies- especially the Bond films.
You're very descriptive, yet at the same time shine with your own personal opinions as opposed to most youtube broadcasters who basically take a side (love or hate it) and spout out common opinions on films as opposed to being descriptive AND an individual. :)
