how to make # 36 ink cartridge works after refill- lexmark 5650

I AWARE THAT THE BLACK FEEDING FROM COLOR CARTRIDGE, BUT I LEARNED THAT #36 AND #37 ARE NOT REFILLABLE BUT #36A & #37A ARE REFILLABLE. I HAVEN`T TRY IT YET, I JUST ORDER MY NEW 36A &37a TO GIVE IT A TRY.

i have the same printer. i refill the black cartridge and the color cartridge and a make a littel bit of tape on the left contact, too( LIKE YOU ) but it doesn´t work :-(

do you know why ?

@TheDamdam92 cartridge # 36 & 37 are not refillable, best thing to do is to buy cartridge # 36A & 37A these are refillable and hard find in local store but availlable @ the manufacture.

@lovePauul I have a Lexmark 2600 series. I do not know the cartridge numbers. I taped the left row and it worked for me. I tried a couple other ideas, which failed. This odny08's tape idea stopped the "black ink needs replacing message". I refilled it too.

this is working only when you have black cartridge and the color cartridge in your printer, and when you want to print somthinf black printer printing black color from color cartridge and when you draw color cartridge that method dosen't work

you must buy black cartridge 36A and color cartridge 37A

or 36XLA and 37XLA

I only buy color ink if I really need it and I happen to run out andI refuse to buy any.. However my printer wasn't printing because it was wanting a new color cartridge... Sucked!! and then I seen your video!! and Waalaa! It worked with only black ink, my color cartridge is still in but its empty. I did have to try it twice.. the 1st time i believe i didn't cover enough of the chip and didn't work the 2nd I almost covered half and it worked!!

Do you know how to do this for 105XL cartridge? I have Lexmark Genesis, and it suppose to use 100 black cartridge, however, the 105XL is identical and it does work for me, but I had to remove the chip from the 100 cartridge and instal to 105XL, so when the information of the old cartridge is still there, it was printing with low ink message, but now it does not allow me to print at all, and i get the exact same message that you got....please let me know if there is something that I could do.
