She has an excellent ear, as she corrected a slightly out-of-tune note. The great Paul Tortelier did just the same. Tamar - you'll be 10 now, I expect, and well up into the thumb positions where things begin getting serious! Thank you for sharing your talent and I wish you well as you progress with this difficult but rewarding instrument.

@peteacher52 Thank you very much for you words! I read Tamar whatever you said and she appreciated and smiled. She is just now 10. And in fact she has advanced. You can see her " etude -concert" by Avazyan with the upper notes and the concerts she gave last year ( I think there is also a link at the end of this video), like the elegy by Faure. In fact a lot of work, but very rewarding. Like the moment she reads inputs from people like you!

She's so cute! And she's doing great! Keep up the good work! The cello is a heck of a difficult instrument. I'm 47 and just started learning it a few months ago, after a life of piano. It's by far the most difficult thing I've ever attempted. She's wonderful! God bless her.

@jadecordovab Thank you very much for your so nice words. She has advanced since then :-) now she's 10 and a month... You can see at the end a link at her current playing. But as you say, a lot of practice to get from the Cello what one can get from it. And Bravo to your daring to make this new adventure. I understand that you are professional piano player. I am sure you will succeed. By the way Tamar also playes as a second instrument Piano.

she is cute but plays out of tune! i know this because i started music when i was 5 years old and i am now 12 years old! :( And i have been playing 5 instruments sice i was five and i am over grade 7 for all of them!
