Sir Laurence Olivier said that Cary Grant was the greatest film actor of the 20th century because he behaved for the camera eye. So very true.

Cary Grant is soooo sexy...Therefore I could do without the pornoesque music in the background TCM.

Cary Grant was voted the quintessential movie star of all time in a poll some years ago, and it is hard to argue the point. "North by Northwest" and "To Catch A Thief" are unsurpassed entertainments and examples of Hitch at his finest - but one cannot imagine either of these films without Grant himself. Not only was Grant handsome, talented and charming, one got the sense that he never took himself too seriously - as so many stars do today.

that makes a lot of sense. as a guy, i'm not threatened by cary grant, even though he seems like a distant social class and significantly more good-looking than me, there is like that common man too, he would have probably been a really cool guy to meet
