  • The Cable in the CD drive is called a IDE cable newer drive will have what called a SATA cable... its alot thiner.

  • i hate dells, lol, ya sorry to say they just dont work too well i think, the xps does but the other brands of dell dont, you must live in florida or somewhere near there cus of your accent, i do, lets go muddin brother

  • It wont read blanks because there BLANKS!!! It has to be a burner to even detect a blank dvd... ROM wont recognize blanks..

    That while all the cables are plugged in.

    How does that come??

    I also have a boot failure all the time.
