Just to clarify, melanesian settlement of the south pacific traces its origins back to south east asia (namely taiwan). All of humanity can trace its roots back to sub-saharan africa -this is the ethnological extent to which melanesians and africans can relate to each other in terms of race - and not, as it is conveniently held, through the ties of skin colour alone. That said, the history and treatment of the black man all over the world is the same..we are one, we are proud and we are united

@94cassava Southeast asia became a melting pot of DIFFERENT people: The Cushites, the Arabians, & "Mongoloids." Taiwanese have always traced their origins to indonesia, not vice versa. Skin color results from GENES, and it is only the Hamitic people that produce black people whether in Africa or melanesia.

Race is merely a specific combination of genes passed and duplicated repeatedly, and their are many races produced in our family line, including us from Melanesia as well as us from Africa.

@94cassava I'm from Africa, and actually to clarify, humanity does not trace it's roots back to africa according to TRUE science (not the theories of the scientific industry). And melanesian's roots extend back to the same familial origins as the rest of our peoples in the continent of Africa as they trace their origins back to the same ancient homelands and ancestors as we do, namely the Sabaihi regions and peoples. In Africa our traditions remember their dispersal.
