The only reason I posted these clips was (not to infringe on copyright laws but) to illustrate my aesthetic review of Swades at our svAbhinava website (see description box of this video). Hence, the 'cheesy' comments. I hope the clips induce viewers to buy the DVD.

I was planning to add English subtitles eventually, but have unfortunately no time for the next couple of months. If someone is willing to send me acceptable English translations of the dialog, I might end up re-editing and re-uploading this clip faster.

hi...i like this scene a lot...but can you please edit it a bit more and post? exactly from the point where Mohan says bye to Kaveri amma and Chikoo asks him for something...till the point when Gita turns away shyly...please upload that small part if possible...it is such a cute scene...

Great movie and Gayatri and Srk has good chemistry!!! I think if Gayatri continues to act, she will be a good actress. I can't believe she stop acting after this movie!!! I love her in this movie, she and srk made an awesome pair!!!

I'm surprised to see no one having commented on the irony in the movie and Gayatri Joshi's real life. She was very much against Mohan's status as a NRI (Mohan's bathing scene) & her present life- she is in LosAngeles, USA married to a builder with 2 kids. Fact is, movies are movies. The truth changes only when the whole circumstances change- for instance the recession in US now. Maybe we will see some intelligent NRI's coming back to work for India and bring about overall development

dunno what it is about gayatri, but I swear the woman can put aSHWARIYAS and Katrinas beauty to shame. Namkeen is a modest word to describe this natural beauty aka gitli. Ditto to shakrikannda.
