IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AIR BIAS, NOT AIR JORDAN.

whats the name of thiss song playing
-
@morrieon But he was picked by the best team in history.

Len Bias was the 2nd pick of the 1986 NBA draft, not the first.

I've always thought of Bias as a more athletic version of Bernard King, which might have made him the premier small forward of all time. Not the ball handler that Jordan was, but unstoppable in the low post, on mid-range jumpers and quick moves to the basket, and finishing on the break. Think King, Worthy and Wilkins all in one package, hitting close to 60 percent of his shots, 30+ per game without breaking a sweat. Probably the smoothest college player I've ever seen, Jordan included.

I agree these are only highlights. they aren't that impressive. He's more impressive in person day in day out. He dominated every play he was involved in. he scored his points while giving up the ball consistently trying to keep his teamates involved. The no help comment is off because 3-4 of his teamates played in the NBA to some extent. Adrian Branch, Keith Gatlin, Jeff Adkins, Tony Massenburg. Dean Smith was the person to put Bias in the category with Jordan but I agree diff types.

@NBAGOATS Give me a break! Wilkins played in the SEC while Bias was the best player in the best conference in America with little help around him. Bias was MUCH more advanced than Wilkins coming out of college and even more advanced than Jordan coming out. Bias was a better shooter than MJ, just as athletic, better rebounder, and had a couple of inches on him. Not saying Bias would have been the better NBA player, but he is the best college player I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of greats.

@1MrVIewer thank you for saying this,u r one of the few ppl who doesnt have the absurd idea bias would have dominated jordan

Bias an Jordan different types of players. Bias didnt have the ball handling skills of MJ. Bias had a deadly 15 ft jump shot and had the ability to score 20+ points and 10 boards per game in the NBA. He would have been a Dominique Wilkins type player. Its a shame we will never see those highlights.
