DJ Baku is one of Japan's most interesting producer/DJ/turntablist. Having come through the Tokyo underground in the last 10 years he's now firmly established himself as a worthy successor to the likes of DJ Krush, evolving the unique sound aesthetic developed by previous Japanese artists including Krush.
This video is taken from Baku's album launch party, held in Tokyo in the summer of 06. 'Spin Street' was the first single taken from the album, and on this video you can see Baku recreate the song live, alongside some footage of his own documentary 'Kaikoo'.
