My 2001 dodge ram 1500 with 35's went from 9 to 22mpg, and that's in the city. The plate arrangement is -NNNNNN+NNNNNN- if anyone would like to make me a dry cell with that configuration please let me know.

  • Hi saw your video- thanks for posting.

Question---- what is your plate configuration for the 29 8x8 plate that you mentioned getting around 40?

Is it still 1 positive in center and all neutrals with negative on both ends?

What was amp / volt draw ?

I have something similar and am popping 30 amp fuses like they were popcorn.

    I appreciate your reply. THANKS

  • @kelsohide -6N+6N-6N+6N- you are technically making a battery and in a car battery there is 6 neutral plates. 6 neutral plates is the most you can go with out sacrificing gas output, I never run mine above 15 amps either.

  • I have a dry cell design with this configuration if you are interested

  • very interested how much and whats the output at howmany amps, i dont run my cell above 15 amps

  • How cold can it get before your electrolite freezes with the concentration you use?

Looking forward to seeing your mileage test.

  • Well my bubbler is filled with wind shield washer fluid, my mixture consists of distilled water and rubbing alcohol/isopropyl, you can use acestone too. 90% distilled water, 10% alcohol, 1 teaspoon of lye per liter of mixture. It did freeze a little in -20 weather but after a minute if was producing hho quickly.

  • @dekocards1990 So how do you install that in your truck?

  • Impressive, I suppose you also have the 5.9 360 as mine. Yes 9 mpg is familiar territory lol, I subbed.

  • interstate driving.

  • 7.5 amps each. if so would this configure draw about 22.5 amps. I know there are variables. ballpark, would i still be in good terrority with amp draw running 30 amp fuses? I know you said you go 15 amps max. I do NOT know with extra positive if it would be same amp draw as yours or higher having that extra +

    2nd question

My plates are in a container with about 2.5 to 3 gallons of water & per your solution. Does amount of water effect gas output? reason for Large water is alot of long

  • Hi, thanks for the reply on the plate placement, much appreciated.

    several new questions.

My plates are 6.75 squared for total surface of 45.56 each.

To equal your surface area of 1856 , I will have to have 43 plates which will be 1959 surface area which is 103 sq inches more than yours.

this means an additional + and -e. additional plates would configure to your reply .

    it would look like this:

-6n+6n-6n+6n-6n+6n- . do you know amp draw? I am guessing on your 2 postives 7.5 amps CONT

  • i want to see the lileage test... ill believe all this when i see it actually work.... someone has a video on here with a diesel ram, but the mileage goes up on his display bc he lets off the gas and lets it coast... im still thinking this is all a bunch of bull! I really would like to see this work, my hemi gets 11 in the city.

  • So after it was all said and done you ended up making 40 mpg with this?
