Just one problem, the swedish constitution says that the heir to the throne can't be married to the heir of another throne, or the ruler of another nation.

@viera1963 This didn't line up properly-I tried to put the 1st, 2nd, etc. under the names so it would be clearer but it didn't come out that way. It's like this:
1st-Louise & Gustaf V
2nd-Christian X & Gustaf VI
3rd-Frederik IX & Gustaf V
4th-Margrethe II & Carl Gustaf
5th-Frederik & Victoria
On the left are Charles XV's descendents and on the right are Oscar II's descendents. They were brothers.

@tystgrabb89 How are they second cousins? I figure them to be 5TH cousins-unless I'm missing something;
Charles XV>Louise> Christian X> Frederik IX> Margrethe II> C.P Frederik
Oscar II> Gustaf V>Gustaf VI> GustafV> Carl XVI Gustaf> C.P. Victoria 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th
Charles XV & Oscar II were brothers-Charles' son died so his brother became King & his descendents inherited the throne.

@Suecorum Even if it wasn't in the constitution I think that would create a problem for BOTH nations...which country would win out? One or the other would have to step aside and give up their respective throne. Imagine if Prince Frederik (before he married Mary) had wanted to marry Princess Victoria-as crown prince and princess of their respective nations one would have to step down. That would be a real dilemma!
BTW I wonder where Prince Frederik was at 2:27-he isn't in the photo!
