@benmoser11 music has always been a big factor in my life. it's in my family. my grandfather was a country man and he could play the shit out of a banjo, guitar, and harmonica as far as i know. my sister is classically trained to sing, my dad taught me the guitar when i was 4 with some songs he grew up with like stairway to heaven, house of the rising sun, etc. and i just played them over and over until i took it more seriously when i was 13. music to me is more than just sounds or notes lol

@idxrider oh yeah i hear ya. i did just understand the intro was a 1.5 and his long pauses are too short for a 1.5 tempo. i love it too, amd i make my own music as well. lol great to know someone else who has empathy for music. :) not a sarcastic statement, i really mean it's great to know that you enjoy music too! lol

@benmoser11 he's not entirely offbeat if that's what you thought i meant. sometimes he is and sometimes he isn't but it's obvious when he is. i'm not saying he's bad because i like this cover but i pay attention to detail and i make my own music as well so i kind of need to know if something is offbeat

@idxrider he's not off beat, he's actually sped up at a 1.5 tempo, which is how cove played this song once live at one of his concerts. also, most piano tabs for this song are 1.5 to 2 tempo. so you can't really blame him for going that fast

i think it's great, hearing a piano make those noises is just amazing. especially because he's probably an ameture, no offense. but if he is, he's a phenomenal ameture. i think it's great, and i love his other covers too. make a band with a vocalist though please. it'd be amazing

Would you guys shut up? He probably knows it's sped up, it's a COVER. Meaning his own variation of the song, he can do what he wants. This is INCREDIBLE. Kudos.

not so bad but not good either. practice more so you'll be better. I agree with illybang's comment. I like saosin and the song and it kind of sucks to hear you do it and not nail it.

you should get yourself a metronome and try again. this is a good song and i like how you played it but i can easily tell when someone's offbeat and every time i hear it i go "irk"
