In the crazy quick bit that goes right up, try tapping rather than picking, you'll get less dead notes, and it's easier to vary etc. I know Kirk doesn't, but ah well, it's fun.

that bit isnt too hard, i can do it alright 9 times outta ten, i could do a better cover of the solo if i felt like doing one.. but i cbf.. XD
