@Nailswith9Inches LOL, I did this and i did not burned it like you LOL, were u two inchs away and moving it side to side?
it only wokrd for a day, next step is taking it apart, cleaning it, changing thermal paste, thermal pads and reflow the chip, it really should not be that hard.
