@Flickchaser starting with hoagy carmichael is ok because he felt his part in the movie wasnt dignified enough the rest of it forget it its a mess they just took out the rerecorded soundtrack the guy that claimed to have produced the record made some complaint just as they did with the kings row rerecorded record soundtrack

While some movies might be enhanced by suspensful audio,the BYOOL does not fall into that category. To alter any aspect of this film or score,considered by many the best ever,is risky business artistically.Great composers can change our heart rate,swing our emotions from high to low and back,leave you feeling blue or wonderful.Mr.Friedhoffer's score is 2nd to none.Your editing was good.But may I humbly suggest to experiment with lesser films and savor the BYOOL unsurpassed score for your delight

This was great. We watched the movie today and were laughing about it being a horror movie with Russell putting his hands through the glass window scaring the kids. Then I found this trailer. Ha Ha!

I should add, though, the power of music. Much of the effect is because of it. Not the homey warmth of Hugo Friedhoffer (in what is, IMHO, one ot the top 5 film scores of all time).
