My dad had a 1996 honda civic dx and it did this idleing thing where it would run fine and the almost shut off. It was the idleing mecanism that when out and he got a new one and it ran fine. Take it to a repair shop and let them look if you cant figure it out
hey my car has the same issue right now im thinking it could be my injectors because one leakerd too much gas in the motor and it was flooooded. at least 2 gallons of fuel in the engine itself, mixed with oil so check that out first. did you get it fixed?
hey bud! compression sounds good, no pinging etc coming from ur motor. The main things I can think of is either a vacuum leak (check the tightness of the hose clamps, and for cracking in the hoses themselves & if you can check the pressure of the intake manifold, may have a leak from where the manifold joins to the block itself), clogged fuel filter could be it (replace it), clogged/dirty/bad injectors (either clean or replace), Mass Air Sensor (may need replacing).
Just buy a new car. I'll sell you one.

Don't ask people on youtube, for all I know a 8 year old kid could be giving you advice. Just bring it to a mechanic! Easy as that.
