I saw you did not understand the announcement on Ash Wednesday. I commented that it is about the Catholic religion, the day begins Cuarezma and not eat meat on that day and every Friday during the 40 days that lasts the Cuarezma. You can only eat fish and shellfish in those days. I think they referred to it ... that day is special and why do not discount. And Catholicism is very important in Mexico and I think they follow their traditions.
