Here is a video I made on the history of the Oliver Typewriter Company.
*CHANGE-The Oliver No. 8 does exist. There is only one known and it is in London, England.

  • Great video! I never knew how detailed one could get with the Oliver typewriters! Just to let you know, pica is pronounce as in, pyca, not piica. And, technically, typewriters do not have "fonts." Only computers have fonts. On a typewriter, it is called a typeface.

  • The history of the Oliver is far more involved than I had ever thought. You did a great job providing information and the visual examples are awesome. Great job!
