Yup "Houston," and "Sing for the sub.." are both genius songs. I hope that you do those as well as the the title track "Accelerate," that would be awesome. I live in kent if you ever want to jam that would be cool, let me know.

I have to say I'm not working on a cover of 'Accelerate' - I've drifted off towards older songs at the moment. The cover I'm currently working on is 'Boy In The Well' and the following is looking like 'She Just Wants To Be'.
Two more songs I'd like to cover from Accelerate would be 'Houston' and 'Sing For The Submarine'.
But keep checking as I may decide to cover it one day soon.

I'll try and explain it the best I can...
The riff is centered around a B (024400). You start by bending from 004400 up to 024400 then you hit the end string 024402 then there's a little riff on the B string (024400 to 024420) and end by hitting the end string again but this time unfretted. That's as best I can describe it, if you stick to this whilst closely listening to the album version you should work it out. Good luck :)

The main riff is based around the chord B (played 024400) although you'll have the play around with the open strings to get the riff sounding right. The break in the verse is just A and E.
Hope this helps. It's a great riff, I love playing it, even acoustically.
