How to Remove Event Messages From Your IL2 Tracks

Those Event Messages that appear during Online Missions can be useful, but incredibly distracting when making a movie. Well, they can be removed so as not to clutter your movie.

I first show an example of where I get shot and stall. I did some editing in order to cut the length of the video, so I am starting out with an external lock on the enemy. I have Inflight Messages on and The Event messages set for the most coverage of the screen (normally I only have no more then two lines showing).

To get rid of the Event messages, either enter an online server, or as I do, create one, open up your chat window, and the readjust it so no messages would appear during an online game.

The I go back to the tracks, shut off the Inflight Messages. Then play the same action of me stalling from the same angle, the screen is clear of all text messages! The only thing left is the connection icon which can be cropped out or just ignored.
