Wolves attack dogs

This late snow we're having may be a factor in the recent wolf attacks. What is usually mainly contained to villages and towns in Fairbanks, has now hit Anchorage.
So why are these wolf attacks happening so close to home?

Okay so what would YOU people do if grocery stores (where we get OUR food) started being replaced with houses and other places of business to the point where places to get OUR food began to seem scarce? I'm just saying....

And what makes domestic dogs worthless? Apparently they are so worthless that German Shepard's, a domesticated dog, are used by police to protect and help them out. Apparently they are so worthless people use them for hunting because of their excellent sense of smell. Apparently they are so worthless that they help out in arsenic cases. @Scrap5000 - swine are like animal garbage collectors and the bible says we shouldn't eat them.  It was the settlers who brought pigs here and then now there were too many pigs (and not enough predators). A lot became wild and now there is a feral hog problem that IS ruining the environment. Solutions are NEVER as easy as you try to make it sound. That was in comparison to your comments about beaver's in MA.

Well if you want to take care of children... please note that a report came out stating that each week in the US a child dies in a kiddie pool. That's WAY more than die by predators.
