I wish I had never seen any of the three yet and I could watch them again in theaters! Every year was just so exciting when the next part was released!!

Yeah! I miss the suspense. I was only ten (I think) when the first came out, and Lord of the Rings is my ultimate favourite series. It was like waiting for Christmas, my birthday and a school trip all at the same time! :D

Oh god....these were definitely movies that need to be watched in a theater. The pure epicness of them can't be fully realized without the massive screen.

I'm sure they'll re-release them to theaters for their 25th anniversary or something.

They're doing a special showing in NYC on the tenth, with a live orchestra playing the sondtrack. you should check it out.
