My religious "confirmation" was a ritual I was forced to participate in as a child so my extended family could have cute pictures of me holding a cross and wearing a tie. I think it was supposed be the point where I confirmed my personal responsibility for my actions in the eyes of the church. In reality it confirmed nothing except the vanity of religion for the sake of tradition, that I could memorize a stack of prayers, and that I was too scared to stand up against my parents and the church.

Well don! This would make a great intro to someone actually explaining what Confirmation is. You should come out with a Part 2 that actually explains what Confirmation is. God Bless.

well im reciving confirmation this month...march...actulay.. on my birthday.and i hVE TO memorize likke all these questions..soo i just loked up the first question on my paper...to see if i would memorize it easier...i guess nit..btw..confirmation is the sacrament in witch the holy spirit comes to us in a special way to join us more closley to jesus and his church and to seal and strenghten us as christs whittnesses...
