My dad sang this in the church choir 2 years ago, when I was 14. He loved this song, and I know it gave him peace. He lost the ability to speak shortly after, and died of melanoma. Sometimes I worry that he was upset before he died, but I can still hear his voice singing "it is well with my soul," and I know he left this world with courage and acceptance.

olchap341 second ago I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior may 19th, last Sunday when I went to church. I went by myself, not because of anyone nor the mere suggestion pass my way, but by my own choosing, I'm 17. My father died when I was 4 and shortly after church I was told my grandfather died. Jesus is ambient, I love him as much as I love myself.
