This plane ins a response to the demand for me to make plans for my large collapsible slow flying FPV plane. This plane is more compact with about the same wing area yet it requires no assembly. It will fly slow and fast, yet at the slw speeds it remains very predictable and stable. It's designed to hold a small HD video cameras like the gopro goprohd flip kodak etc.

1100KV 70 gram brushless motor
2200mah 3 cell lipo
10X6 prop
800grams ready to fly (not including any camera / FPV equipment
Cost of airframe is about $5

  • where do i glue the bottom battery box in terms as inches from front or back

  • @Coinguy981 It should be marked on the plans.

  • No way if you put a gopro in front + vtx and stuff in it, it will fly slow or smooth , its just to small make one 20 % bigger at least ... or put on a vid flying wit all the extra weight.

Its a cool looking model anyway , well done !

  • @EwaltFpv Interesting comment. Actually at the end of the video it's flying with a Flip video camera and a decent size wide angle lens on it.....which is similar in weight to a GoPro A video TX and battery to power it wouldn't add that much more weight. I know it looks small but it has gobs of wing area. How bout you build one (plans are FREE on my site) and try it out then us know what you think. Real life testing AND Flitetests' video prove it will fly slow / stable w/GoPro FPV.

  • Very nice and unique design. It sure seems to fly stable, too! I'm looking forward to your plans link going live - I want to try this one as an FPV ship. Keep up the great work!

  • @CrashHancock OK plans are all fixed. Go download and build.
