Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs : Opening Credits & Prologue
Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains : Générique d'ouverture & Prologue

Second French dubbing (1962) : 1994 VHS Version
Deuxième doublage Français (1962) : Version VHS de 1994

Here are the opening credits and prologue as they appear in the 1994 VHS version of Snow White in French. As far as I know, the 2001 DVD version uses the original opening credits and prologue in English.

  • Interesting how they had voice artist credits on the French version but not the original American version

  • Would you upload some of the other french text parts because i think its realy intresting to see that they translated all the texts, and it´s a shame that they didn´t use the french text anymore.

In our German DVD from 2001 there were all texts in English but you could change it to german text, so why not in french too?

But in the german DVD from 2009 are only the english texts.

  • The animators' credits is missing!

  • However, the 2001 Snow White DVD features the wholly French version.

  • how come with DVD's the opening titles are in English? for example on the American DVD it comes with French and Spanish (both 2001 dubs) but this part is in English, it says Snow White not Blanche Neige or Blanca Nieves when you watch this part in French or Spanish? anyone know why? is it just because they use the audio, not the actual video with the words in the language?

  • Thanks, My French isn't great (it's use it or loose it with languages) but this still bought back memories.
