What environmental destruction? Have you not seen any of the clean up reports? Talk to some local forest service from the Big Sandy area if you are concerned. That is where the gathering was last year, and the local forest service was more than happy with the clean up by the rainbows.

So the ones posting positive messages of love and peace received many thumbs down. Then there are the ones spreading hate which get all thumbs up, not just for this vid but all recent videos on the gathering.

To me this makes no sense, why move backwards to the days of hate, when we all can move forward towards peace and exceptance ?

i live in cuba and i went up to the rainbow gathering it was the coolest thing i have ever seen it was so peaceful and really awesome lol they were so nice i met alot of really cool people

You're right about the cultural apropriation. Great Lakes tribal council voted unanimously to stop the gathering in Michigan's National forests, but they see themselves as the new improved white indians. They didn't listen and came anyway. Also left behind their dogs. The wild dog population is now a problem in Michigan. The drumming, the teepees, the medicine wheel 'ceremonies' are all deeply offensive to me as an indigenous/queer. Did the FN ppl of NM give THEIR permission? I bet not.
