  • @joelyn21327 Hahahaa as you want:)

  • Well, you can use your nose, your mouth or both but personally I prefer beginners start blowing with their noses for the reasons I mention on my website. eg: you will never have water in your nose, if you want to blow more you can use your mouth too, ...

  • I used to teach swimming lessons and you are right on track with this first lesson.

  • @catbirdfeeder Thanks man! This is cleary the very first step for someone who wants to learn swimming

  • I have one problem, I absolutely cant stand getting water in my nose. I've tried exhaling slowly out of my nose, but water still manages to slip up. Any advice?

  • @Livewire51200 You have to practice, it's very easy! If you slowly blow with your nose while putting your head in the water it's impossible to have water inside. Maybe you breath too early... continue to blow just little bit when your nose is outside.

  • hi. i have just started swimming. earlier i had fear of water, now fear has gone but still not feeling comfortable. i have one doubt. my coach is advising me to use mouth while breatrhing in and out as well. but in your video breath out is by nose. soim getting confused. how should i practic ?

  • I learned swimming a long long time ago. Practised for a few years until 9 years ago :)..Tried getting into the local pool today and found out I was practically bobbing around, finding it difficult to breathe, kick and do the arm strokes all at the same time..lol..I know..it was quite a scary experience. But managed to calm down and move around a little. I'll probably try the breathing exercise same as this next time and see how it goes. Thanks for the video.

  • I learned to swin at age 12. Still love swimming
