  • bar dips are amateur. ring dips are monstrous. much harder than they look. these can boost your bench press or replace it entirely. no joke.

i've felt these in the lats, pectorals, triceps, and traps. they even pump up the biceps for some reason. a ridiculously comprehensive exercise on par with the pullup. do them.

  • thats not a full extension at the top

  • Real men turn their rings out when they do ring dips.

  • Lock those rings out brother!

  • ring dips should be done so that you turn your wrist to the outside at the end. it's much much harder that way

  • DIPS... THE UPPER BODY SQUAT

  • 0:56 he took a likin' to jonsey

  • @jsanto1214 let's just stop. no one is going to win this argument. some things work for some people and other things work for other people. And i'd feel embarrassed if one of my friends or my family saw that I had been arguing over the internet. BTW you are right about building tendons/ligaments. I was just too proud to admit it, and thought I could probably beat you in a overhead squat competition.

  • @Holcomb227 you are funny. The squat is not an end all say all for determining who is stronger. It just measures who can squat more. Also, it depends on how you squat. Front squat. high/low bar squat. Overhead. Rock bottoms. We could always meet up and wrestle? We could see who can carry a full keg on their backs farther. How about the deadlift? Bench press? Maybe we can see who can chop a tree down faster. Or jump higher. Come on man. Stop exhibiting your ignorance to me.

  • @jsanto1214 lets see whos stronger post your max squat and give your body weight.

  • @Holcomb227 actually, you are ;) fully locking out builds the tendons and ligaments in your elbow, thus making it stronger and able to support more weight. Have fun shortening your muscles :)

  • @jsanto1214 the Olympics are wrong.
