Graham Hoyle OBE, the chief executive of the Association of Learning Providers (ALP), a national trade organisation representing the interests of a diverse range of learning provider organisations delivering government funded vocational learning programmes talks on Train to Gain.
The majority of the 461 member organisations are independent providers holding contracts with the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), and Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), for the range of provision e.g. welfare to work, work-based learning and workforce development. ALP members deliver the 75% of Apprenticeships provision in England.
The membership includes consultants, national stakeholder agencies, regional provider networks, 60 FE Colleges and 50 charities, giving ALP a well rounded and comprehensive perspective and insight on skills and employment debate, workforce development and post 14 -19 agenda.
