Sue Bleiweiss demonstrates her favorite method for painting silk. Note: I know that the volume is a bit low on this video and I hope to correct that by using a portable mike when I shoot the next video.

somehow I would think the sun would fade the color while it dries. I have worked in dyes for many years and have had this happen when newly dyed fabric is left to dry in the sun.

Could one speed up the drying process by heating or leaving the dyed material in sunlight?
