Is there a pen tool or something you can use so you can control where the mask goes?

couldn't i get the same effect, by just using a vignette, and feathering the edges? PLEASE someone answer! -i just really wish final cut supported unlimited masking points instead of just 4/8:-(

@VideoGameFallout cool thanks! I've figured it out now. haha, hard to think it was a whole year ago! btw funny story, i found that 50 point mask plugin and got in touch with Dnoman56 (uploader). don't believe me? check the description of that video :)
