Im now fighting this battle and about to purchase a new pressure pot. I have an old pressure can that operates with compressor. now Ive never worked with Hydraulic (hand cranked) pot ..... is that better than the compressor version????

I think that the impression material is a type of Aliginate or possible platinum silicone. i think for the paint, I doubt it matters too much as it gets encased. My question is, whats the best way to come up with that type of rotary table. I've been using drill locked down on table....but not good enough. lathe is too big and facing side not up..........

KIm uses a slightly modified version of a contact lens spindle. He may have other models that he and his family created, but for the most part it was a contact lens lathe. Hope that helps!
