My own tutorial commentary for a relatively simple tactic in acquiring a nice amount of cR in roughly 30-45 minutes while making use of a checkpoint, to reload for more kills. BE-SURE to go to "save and quit" after you're done farming, if you want to see how much you've pulled in from your farming.
Bare in mind also, that this will eventually dry up once your commendations reach about gold rank. At that point, move on to other methods of credit farming.
Credit farming DOES have a daily limit, once you reach this, you will get a notification of doing so. DO-NOT-PANIC. You can farm again the next day. Bungie has yet to reveal what that limit is, however.

Note: You WILL-NOT be banned for doing this. The only people being banned, are those who cheat and reset their challenges to re-roll for even more credits. Here's some proof if you're looking for it:
"If you've devised an ingeniously elaborate method to circumvent our credit cap or exploit our challenge system, all of your "hard work" is soon to be for naught. While we understand the compulsion to race to the top and earn all the good gear before any of your friends do, network manipulation and other easily detectable workarounds that fall well outside of standard gameplay will result in a credit reset and several other punitive measures designed to knock you back down to a level playing field with all the rest of us who are playing the game without having to resort to exploits. We're watching you. Without calling attention to specific methods, here are a couple of examples to help you wrap your mind around what we consider acceptable behavior and what we consider the machinations of people with way too much time on their hands:
Example 1: Laziness is Next to Godliness
You've commissioned your little brother to play through the same section of ONI: Sword Base over and over again, wielding the Target Locator like a barbarian's cudgel in a quest to hit your daily credit cap without ever having to lay a finger on the controller.
This is a little bit sad, but it is not an offense we're going to punish. *You* are playing the game. Keep your credits (but please go easy on your little brother)."

2 things:
1. You should pick up the target locator before you get the checkpoint, so you don't have to run/pick it up every time.
2. When you get the killionaire, you will usually NOT reach the checkpoint, there'll be a few elites that survive.

For that Oni one, unless I'm wrong, doesn't it only work for one session? Like after you save and quit doesn't it not work anymore?
