Ed, to my untrained ear, you sound wonderful and the info is fantastic, but to my somewhat trained eye, the sync looks off a couple of frames. Just sayin'. What video editing software do you use?

So cool. Love it!

In response to the question above, I've read that the MicPort Pro will *not* work with the current iPad camera adapter, which is a real shame. I'm sure a lot of USB mics will work--the other one besides the Audio-Technica that I know of is the Blue Yeti mic.
Nice video, Ed!

Hey Ed!
I am assuming that the MicPort Pro will work in that camera adapter for the Ipad?

curious if it is possible to cut on twisted wave? Couldn't find anything that says yes or no, even though it does have the more advanced filters as compared to i-audition

Dang Ed...good stuff! I just returned home from a trip where I lamented lugging mega LB's of extra gear. Now I have an excuse to buy me an iPad. Great share. :)
That was very informative Ed, thank you! I'm curious to know though . . . what different feelings seem to go with your right hand, opposed to your left hand when you talk? Again, kudos to you for taking the time to inform the people of the VO world!

Believe it or not...my left hand gives me a lighter read...my right give me a more powerful read (since I'm right handed) and together...it's a more open - welcoming read. Hope that answers your question!

ok, Ed. I think I love you. Don't tell my husband. Been looking for that iPad info forever! Is it audition-quality only or OK for emergency production?

@randyekaye hey Randye - i won't tell him.
For me - it's instant audition...I use both programs in a pinch...I generally tell the engineer or studio or client...that I'm out of town...and I'm recording portably...never had a problem yet. I let the engineer back at the studio eq it. Love you too!
