  • No, the other poster was right, this is most certainly Bach's famous Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." Canon is similar in style, but quite distinct in its own right as a piece of music. There are many good performances of Pachlebel's "Canon in D" on youtube, so you can search one out and make a comparison.

  • Ruth McGinnis died Oct.6, 2009 with her 3 year battle of ovarian cancer. So sad! The Julliard trained violinist was outstanding. Her books and music were gems.
