La Plaza Grande (Mérida, Yucatán, México)

Here we are in Merida's main plaza. I've spent so many hours in this park in the past, that coming back here after so many years was a very emotion moment for me. Here we see Merida's ancient cathedral, the Municipal Palace, and what was once the home of the Montejo family, the Spaniards who conquered Yucatan in the 16th century. The video begins with two stray cats being fed by a stranger, apprently a foreigner living in Merida.
