It's not arrogance and I am sorry if it comes out that way. It's frustration against fellow musicians that are too blind and narrow minded to see beyond their comfort zone. No I am not calling stupid someone that says "I do not understand this", much less if they are not musically trained.
But yes I am calling stupid someone that comes under this video to proclaim 'this is crap' and 'this is not music'... That I cannot accept...

Saying that people are stupid for not understanding this is like telling a German he's an idiot for not understanding French. It takes time to train your musical ear to hear patterns, and the only reason why other's can't understand it is because they haven't been exposed to it as much as you have.
So no need to be arrogant man, just sympathize with them that they are missing out on something great :)

So... you're saying you could do better since he doesn´t know what he´s doing? He knows the sound, he improvises, he doesn't just play random notes... you should know better.

Are you stupid people? Can't you hear patterns emerging while he is playing? Yes the patterns don't stem from an overall pattern such as a set of changes like in 'classic' jazz but the patterns are there. Cecil can hear them, I can hear them... It is music... If you are THAT tonedeaf that is not Cecil's problem...
